Wildlife Sensitivity Zones

We are hoping that the province of Alberta makes a decision on this project consistent with Premier Smith's 2024 announcement regarding an industrial scale wind project in the same area, within a 35km buffer zone of a UNESCO World Heritage site. This area is also home to a number of at risk wildlife species such as :

• bull trout

• Westslope cutthroat trout

• Little brown bat

• Northern myotis

• Bobolink

• Barn swallow

• Bank swallow

• Northern leopard frog

• Western toad

• Trumpeter Swan
