The Captus Generation Concerned Citizens are a group of stakeholders in the MD of Pincher Creek that are interested in supporting the important role the southern district of the MD of Pincher Creek plays in the bio-diversity of this area. We believe in the conservancy and stewardship of important wildlife corridors, endangered and protected species, water tables, agriculture and preservation of the way of life the area has come to know. We are particularly sensitive to the proposed industrial development at the old Drywood Creek generation facility. The proposed combination natural gas generating plant / AI Data center would have devastating effects on the surrounding ecology of the area, and potentially cause irreversible damage to the Waterton Biosphere.
